I received the tiles today. I am VERY impressed! I had expected some pixelation of the images (kind of like a decal or transferware image) based on seeing older custom tiles in older installations. There was none! Nada. Both the Hobbit and Rivendell tiles are exceptionally crisp and the colors vivid and well done. The Durin tile set is very clean and I like that you offset the image a wee bit in order to preserve the detail that would have been lost had you not. You do outstanding work! Kudos to you! Thank you!

Found the company online. Had to get a mural printed on tiles. I called and I was amazed at how helpful they were. The project came out better than I expected. Because of that project, I did another one with them immediately after. I live in Florida and I was concerned with the product coming from Virginia (?). No issues. They were packed incredibly well without a single broken tile. Also, each tile had a sticker with a number on it and a master sheet showing location for installation. Crazy good.

It was great working with Mitch at Custom-Tiles.com. We wanted a focal point above our stove for our tile backsplash in our new house on some acreage with a lake. We spent time at several tile stores and could not find anything we liked. We had taken some pictures in autumn of the lake with the trees in all their fall colors. We decided to send a couple of the pictures to custom-tiles.com after finding them on the internet. We had several conversations with Mitch about which picture to use and how to crop it to fit on the size of tiles we wanted. After countless searches for a company that would produce with an actual photo My husband found the custom-tiles site and it said it does exactly what I was hoping could be done in creating a unique backsplash from a photo we had taken of our view of the lake from our home. We found this company on the internet and contacted them. Spoke with the owner, telling him what we were trying to accomplish. We wanted a tile picture for the backsplash behind the stove. We sent him our digital photo and he made a few color changes to the original, as per our instructions. He then sent us several tile selections to choose from along with his suggestions for what we were doing. We chose the tile, approved the picture and placed our order. He did send a picture of how the tiles would look when divided into the tiles. I think we received our order in about a week. They were very carefully packaged and each tile was numbered to correspond with an overall picture. We could not have been more pleased. We had it installed by a professional.

We had a photo that was taken on a recent trip to Italy made into a 12″x24″ backsplash for our stove. The results exceeded our expectations, the 8 6″x6″ tiles were beautifully done. The entire composition looks as good or better than a print of the photo on high quality paper. we hired a skilled artisan to install the tiles and have received rave reviews from everyone who has seen the finished product. The photo was taken with a 10 megapixel camera and was printed on ceramic tiles . Custom-tiles does high quality work and provides a unique alternative for a wide variety of tile projects. We priced a similar Tuscan scene that was commercially produced and frankly it was more expensive and not as well done. Check out the company web site, review your favorite photos, and get creative. For a Christmas gift had I decided to give my wife a tile mural of one of our favorite vacation spots. I selected a view of the Mexican coastline where we share a condo with family members and being there is always relaxing and has great memories. The idea was to place the mural at the foot of her tub at home so she could look out over the same scene as when on vacation. As I searched my pictures for something I could use, it turned out the best picture available was from an instamatic camera take several years before. I did not even have digital copy of this picture, so I took my own digital camera and took a picture of the picture. I explained this to Mitch and he said he would enhance the picture and send it back for my review. He did this and I was very pleased. I had my business logo placed on a tile to put used in concert benches. They worked with me for a few days to get the size and position of the logo on the tile perfect. Sent me drawings and everything. Wonderful people to work with. Were very helpful and willing to do whatever i needed to get what i wanted. Once everything was confirmed the proccess was very quick and not a thing was broken when received. Extreamly happy customer and will use them again in the future. In 2007, we started planning a complete remodel of our 1960’s vintage kitchen. This would involve replacing everything down to bare walls. We had saved for years and wanted the show kitchen of our dreams. Every detail was laid out until we were faced with what to do above the built-in stove top. Traditional tile work seemed too boring and dull, After all, what can you really get from a big box store? Roosters, grapes and vines? Being extensive travelers, we thought it would be great to have a Caribbean scene, but again, what was available? Our internet search yielded the treasure of custom-tiles.com, and the wonderful owner, Mitch. We explained what we wanted, where we wanted it and he helped us through the entire process start to finish. We had chosen a picture of Trunk Bay, USVI because everyone in our family had been there at one time or another. The entire process was a simple as possible. We downloaded the image and the tiles arrived in plenty of time to be placed for our kitchen reveal. To this day, the showpiece that all can see is this beautiful beach. It has withstood the test of time, grease, steam, splatters, splashes, etc. without any problems.
